Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) in Taiwan

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partnes (CIP) established its Taiwan office in October 2017, with a team of 150 employees specialized in engineering, technology, finance, environment, and law. The team has extensive experiences in large-scale infrastructure projects, enabling us not only to develop the projects in Taiwan in an effective and efficient way, but also making great achievements on technology transfer, talent cultivation, and green finance.

To participate in the offshore wind zonal development of Taiwan from 2026 to 2035, the CIP team in Taiwan in 2020 announced 6 potential sites in Taiwan: Fengfan, Fengcheng, Fengli, Fengmiao, Fenyou and Fufang. These sites have a total capacity of 6.3 GW.

In pace with the fast growth of the renewable energy in Taiwan, besides committing to deepen cooperation with the local supply chain, CIP is also planning to develop more advanced technologies in the Taiwan projects, including floating wind and Power-to-X, aiming at leading Taiwan offshore wind to the next stage
